Oatman Ride on Historic Route 66

With the latest Polaris Slingshot from Pirate Cove Resort, hit the open road on the Historic Route 66, one of the original U.S. highways built in 1926. This infamous highway referred to as “Main Street America” is home to many must-see destinations, one being Oatman, Arizona. Located in the Black Mountains of Mohave County, Oatman is a town reaching 2,710 feet in elevation. What began as a small mining camp, became a booming town in 1915 after two prospectors struck $10 million in gold. With a variety of shops and restaurants, this is the perfect pit stop during a day of Slingshot exploration! Other destinations include old mines which guests can hike, western shows and saloons that still have bullet holes in the walls from the Wild, Wild West! Pick up a bag of burrow food from any of the local stores, and hand-feed the many mules hanging around in the area. It’s time to crank up your favorite tunes with the Bluetooth speakers and strike gold as you take a step back in time!

Ride Type: On Road
What to Bring: We recommend that guests wear long sleeves and pants. Water and snack bags are available for purchase at the General Store and Boutique.
